"He is not here, for He is risen, as He said He would. Come, see the place where His body lay."

On the third day, the tomb was rolled away and He did just what He said He would do. For this reason, all of our fears are gone and we now have hope. We can now trust that the old has gone and that the new has come. What we think that the devil has stolen from us is no longer true because the one who gave His life gave us new life in Him, even life after death. It is because of this, that we now stand complete and can find great joy even amid our sorrows. Since He rose, we can rise. After all, our circumstances no longer define us, but He does. Therefore, we are free because He freed us. Also, even though He would no longer be among us in the physical sense, He still sent us the Holy Spirit as our helper and gave us His word as well. This means that He is for us and that He would never leave or forsake us. We can also trust that His promises are true. He is the giver of all good things, but there is no greater gift than The Giver Himself. He is everything we need and His truth is the only basket we can put all of our eggs in.
